Roxie's Flower Truck found its perfect partner in kindness with Mieka McClain: a six-year-old girl who quietly leaves Roxie's Flower Truck bouquets on the doorsteps of unsuspecting families throughout Winters.

Mieka — nicknamed "the flower ninja" because she stealthily leaves bouquets while donning a cape and mask — started surprising families with flowers with the help of her mother, Michelle, in April 2019, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. The Winters community performed countless acts of kindness for the McClain family after Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with her youngest child, and Michelle wanted to pay it forward after going into remission.
